Safe checks before scheduling service
- Confirm the thermostat is not near a heat source or strong sun exposure.
- Check the filter for restriction.
- Observe whether the outdoor unit stops at the same time as indoor airflow.
- Note any breaker trips, error codes, or unusual sounds.
- If cycles are extremely brief or repeated, request service.
